On "Guild Wars", how do you start parties?

There's a party window that defaults to the right side of the screen. If you click on a player, their name will be added to the dialouge box there, as well as a green circle with a plus in it. If you click that plus, it will send an invitation to that player, and they will have the option of joining your party. You can also type in the name of a specific character in that box, or in any of the chat windows type in "/invite name of player" without the quotes.

If someone invites you to their party, it will show up in the party window at the bottom. All you have to do then is click on the player's name whos invitation you want to accept, then click the "Accept" button that appears at the bottom of the party window.

It should probably be noted here that many players do not like it when you just randomly invite them to your group, or Blind Invite. Try to only invite people you know what to party with you, or want to do the same things, and it's always best to talk to them first.

I have another question, for the character contest, how do you get a picture of your charater?

The Print Screen button will take a bit map image of the screen and save it in your Guild Wars folder. If you hold Shift when you press Print Screen, it will disable the interface for the picture. I guess the rest is up to you.

What Guild wars folder?

if you have GW installed in the default location (program files\guildwars\) then if you look in there you'll see a screens folder, thats where your screen shots are.
